Mrs J van Zyl 6/10/2010 My husband ate the BEST RIBS that he has ever eaten at your lovely, friendly Restaurant in Greyton last week and he has been telling everyone that Abbey Rose is a MUST for ribs when visiting Greyton. He orders ribs wherever we go but these were outstanding in flavour, tenderness and presentation. Thank you.

19/07/2010 The best restaurant in Greyton. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food (we each had the deep fried camembert starter, I had oxtail and Mandy had the venison pie, mmmm!). My only complaints would be no sparkling wine on the menu, and service was mixed - the owner and head waitress are friendly and on the ball, but our waitress had a little attitude and continually rushed us. Otherwise I can't wait to come back.

22/06/2010 We recently spent a weekend in Greyton and had the pleasure of enjoying a great meal at Abbey Rose. The food was fantastic and really good value. We were a table of 8 and there was not a single complaint. The atmosphere was warm and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner.

22/06/2010 What an awesome experience. We dined in a large group and had absolutely nothing but positive comments from each and every member of the group. The hardest decision was making a choice between all the dishes available. Each and every person at the table commented that it was the best kudu pie, lamb shank, ribs, calamari etc. they had tasted in a long time. I loved the selection on offer and we immediately booked to have dinner there again the next evening. I highly recommend dining out at Abbey Rose.

04/02/2010 While scoping for wedding venues in Greyton on the weekend, we stumbled across the Abbey Rose. A more charming, quaint and beautiful setting cannot be found! The food was rustic, homemade and brilliant, the service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, without being annoying. It is the most romantic setting for wedding I can think of! Not pretentious at all!

01/12/2009 This is the best restaurant in Greyton. We enjoyed delicious food, great service and warm hospitality and vibe. The beef fillet was superb and the malva pudding tasted just like gran used to make it!
